Lutheran Valley Retreat is a year round retreat and summer camp facility for all ages tucked away in the Pike National Forest. We are located 1.5 hours from Colorado Springs and 2.5 from Denver. Our mission is to share God’s grace and glory through His creation.

  • Program Description:

    Youth ages 8-17 experience the awesomeness of LVR during week-long sessions. Each day the campers play in God’s creation with activities like, archery, tomahawks, rock climbing, fishing, giant swing, crafts, and many other camp activities. Additional options include horse back riding, backpacking, mountain biking, counselor in training and physical fitness sessions.

    Camp for Adults with Disabiltites

  • Program Description:

    LVR partners with Bethesda Lutheran Communities to provide a week of camp for adults with disabilities. The staff trains teenagers servants that come from around the country to be companions for these campers.

    Teens and adults shout in glee while soaring across camp on the handicap accessible zip line, shout in joy when catching a fish, and smile broadly while riding a horse.

  • Program Description:

    Arvanda Community Church volunteers bring teenagers in the foster care system for a week at camp.

  • Program Name:

    Firewood for Teller County

  • Program Description:

    Volunteers gather firewood during mitigation programs for neighbors in Teller County who cannot afford to pay for firewood to heat their homes during the cold winter. This service protects the camp from ravaging forest fire as well as warming the community.
