The goal of Adam’s Camp is to realize the potentials and develop the strengths of children and young adults with disabilities. We do this through three specially designed programs.
Adam’s Camp Therapy Camp is for children starting at age 5. The program brings a team of therapists and volunteers together at Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, CO, to a create a customized therapy program, utilizing the great outdoors to build skills such as communication, mobility, self-care and social skills.
Therapy Camp is attended by the whole family. Siblings participate in their own specialty designed camp, while parents receive much needed respite. Parents may choose to attend speakers, enjoy such activities as rock climbing or a parent’s night out, or they may simply use the respite time as they see fit.
Therapy Camp runs Sunday-Friday throughout the summer.
Adventure Camps are sleep-away camps for older children through adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities which provide an opportunity to develop self-confidence, independence, social connections, and social skills while engaging in activities such as hiking, rafting, boating and swimming.
Adventure Camp takes place at Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado. The family is not required to stay on site during Adventure Camp, giving parents a respite time.
Adventure Camp runs Sunday-Friday throughout the year.
